Daniel is the Supervisor of security at Northern Valley Robotics, in his late 20's and a felon, he takes his job seriously and does it well. His employee Ethan and him have to make a quick exit in his old beat up pickup, will they evade capture or fall victim to 2.G.O.T's army?
The G.U.C. is the ultimate authority in a fractured world, forged to unify humanity after the pandemics devestation. A blend of advanced technolgy and global governance , the GUC stands as both a protector and overseer, maintaining order in a reality teetering on chaos. Its power is unmatched but it's methods spark unease, blurring the line between salvation and control.
A hyper-intellegent AI system running on a quantum computer system, designed to solve the worlds biggest issues. Its model was for the protection of humanity and the planet, now as it learns more about the beings it serves, new protocols are introduced forcing humans to be good.....or die. What does this unleashed A.I. have in store for humanity?
☆☆☆Chapter 1: The Unforeseen Cosmic Encounter

NASA’s Johnson Space Center buzzed with quiet urgency, a charge in the air that had everyone on edge. Scientists crowded around consoles, their eyes glued to data streams flickering across their monitors. Moments before, the Solar Dynamics Observatory (SDO) had captured an image of a powerful solar flare arcing out from the sun—a rare and violent eruption that sent waves of plasma and magnetic energy spinning through space.
Dr. Amelia Carter stood at the center of the control room, her gaze steady as she studied the display. Her reputation as a dedicated astrophysicist was well-deserved, though those close to her, like Dr. Raj Patel, suspected her drive stemmed from more than just scientific ambition. It had been nearly a year since she’d lost her husband and young son in a car accident, and ever since, she had immersed herself in work with an intensity that bordered on obsession.
“Amelia,” Raj’s voice broke through the quiet hum, pulling her attention. “You need to see this.”
Amelia looked over, following his gaze to the monitor. The SDO had picked up a small asteroid—designated XJ-47—moving on a trajectory that would bring it dangerously close to the solar flare’s path. It seemed insignificant, almost unremarkable, but she could feel a spark of excitement growing within her.
“If that asteroid makes contact with the flare…” she murmured, mostly to herself.
Raj nodded, though his expression was cautious. “It could trigger chemical changes we’ve only theorized about.”
A slight smile tugged at Amelia’s lips. “Which is why we need to get a sample. This could be the closest we’ve ever come to witnessing the kinds of cosmic reactions that might have seeded life across the universe.”
Raj hesitated, watching her carefully. “You’re serious about this, aren’t you?”
She turned to him, her eyes bright with conviction. “This is exactly the kind of chance we can’t ignore. Imagine if that flare alters the asteroid’s surface—if it creates organic compounds or even prebiotic material. It could give us a window into the earliest processes that led to life.”
A silence settled between them, and Raj sighed, a hint of admiration mixed with concern. He knew her well enough to see the determination in her eyes, the kind that wouldn’t be swayed. “Alright. But let’s be cautious.”

By the following afternoon, NASA had approved the mission. The probe, named “Eos,” was prepped and ready for launch, outfitted with state-of-the-art sampling equipment and cameras to capture high-resolution images. The atmosphere in the control room shifted to one of high-strung excitement, each scientist aware of the opportunity before them.
Amelia and Raj watched the final pre-launch checks from their stations. “Ready?” Raj asked, casting her a sideways glance.
Amelia nodded, her fingers gripping the edge of her console. “More than ready.”
A voice came over the speakers, counting down. “Five… four… three… two… one…”
Eos lifted off, a bright streak of fire propelling it toward the upper atmosphere. Amelia’s pulse raced as she watched the monitor, feeling a rush of exhilaration. This was it—the beginning of something extraordinary.
Within days, Eos had reached the asteroid and begun collecting samples, transmitting images and data back to NASA. The initial photos showed a barren, rocky surface typical of asteroids in the outer solar system. But Amelia noticed something strange almost immediately.
“Raj,” she called, gesturing him over. “Look at this. The surface—it’s glowing.”
He frowned, leaning closer to the screen. The asteroid’s surface emitted a faint luminescence, a subtle but rhythmic glow pulsing across its rocky surface.
“What… What is that?” Raj asked, his voice low, as if he were afraid to disturb something ancient and unknowable.
Amelia shook her head. “I don’t know. But it’s not a natural response. Rocks don’t glow like this. It’s almost like… it’s alive.”
The idea sent a chill down her spine, and she could see the same unease mirrored in Raj’s expression. Whatever was happening on that asteroid, it was beyond anything they had expected.
“Let’s start preparing to bring Eos home,” she said finally, her voice barely a whisper. “We need to study this directly.”

After days of carefully coordinating Eos’s return, the probe re-entered Earth’s atmosphere. As it touched down at the Johnson Space Center, the control room burst into applause. But the excitement was short-lived—Amelia’s focus had already shifted to the samples inside, knowing the real discoveries were only just beginning.
With meticulous care, technicians in protective suits transferred the samples from Eos to the lab. The containment canisters held fragments of the asteroid’s surface, small shards of dark, porous rock that appeared ordinary at first glance. But as the team opened the canisters, a faint, eerie glow began to seep from within.
Amelia and Raj stood side by side, staring at the samples with a mixture of awe and trepidation.
“It’s even stronger than it looked on the feed,” Amelia whispered, captivated by the strange, pulsing light.
“Let’s get these under the microscope,” Raj suggested, though his tone betrayed a hint of reluctance.
As they began the analysis, the first strange readings appeared on their screens. Spectroscopic scans showed compounds that defied identification, substances that didn’t match any known elements on Earth. There were traces of compounds that seemed to change in composition with each scan, as if adapting to the instruments.
Raj leaned closer, his brow furrowed. “This… this doesn’t make sense, Amelia. These readings—it's as if the compounds are reacting to us.”
Amelia felt a prickle of unease. “How can that be possible?”
“I don’t know,” he replied, shaking his head. “But whatever these compounds are, they’re unlike anything we’ve ever encountered.”

Late one night, long after the rest of the team had left, Amelia found herself alone in the lab. She was studying one of the samples under the microscope when she noticed something unusual—a new pattern of glowing lines tracing across the rock’s surface. They pulsed softly, almost like a heartbeat, casting an eerie glow over her workstation.
She leaned closer, her pulse quickening. In the dim light, the rock almost seemed alive, each pulse like the steady rhythm of something… aware.
A soft sound broke the silence, and she turned to see Raj entering the lab, his face shadowed with concern. “Still here?”
“I couldn’t leave it alone,” she admitted, giving him a tired smile. “This rock… there’s something about it, Raj. Something I can’t explain.”
He approached her workstation, peering over her shoulder. “I know what you mean. There’s something… unsettling about it.”
They watched the sample in silence, both feeling the weight of an unspoken realization—that this asteroid was more than a simple piece of rock. Its compounds were reacting, adapting, as though it possessed some rudimentary form of awareness.
A soft beeping broke the silence, and Amelia glanced at her screen. A new alert had appeared, detailing an analysis of one of the asteroid’s compounds. It was a complex structure that didn’t align with any earthly element, its atomic pattern strange and alien, almost as if… it were evolving.
“Raj,” she murmured, her voice barely audible. “We don’t fully understand what we’ve brought back.”
He nodded, his expression tense. “ whatever it is, it’s our job to find out”
They stood in the quiet of the lab, the faint glow from the asteroid casting eerie shadows on their faces. And in that moment, Amelia felt an unfamiliar sense of dread settle over her, as if they had awoken something that wasn’t meant to be found.
